What will you learn?
First you’ll learn how to take action and ownerships of your development work. Then we talk about getting the plan right and resourced. You will learn how to plan work packages, tasks and deliverables. It is a brick and mortar method for breaking down big and complex tasks into manageable chunks of work. When you have it well planned it’s basically half done. This is the first step to unlocking your productivity and development potential.
Who is it for?
This introductory course is intended for learners with little prior experience on managing projects and who want to get it going in a fast manner. We recommend that learners with more background in projects take this course as a warmup and continue with more advanced courses coming up soon.
HANDS-ON LEARNING BY DOING
This is an active course, where you can get the most by elaborating your own ideas and putting things into practice. You can start your own project, work on what you already have on the table or use an example. Learning by doing is what works in practice, so feel free to hit the books and study, but every day make action in real-world settings.
FIND YOUR OWN RHYTHM in WEEKly LEARNING SPRINTS
To gain knowledge and keep up with yourself in a self-paced course, we recommend scheduling a daily or weekly session in your calendar from the start. The contents here are designed to help you work through a six week period. One session per week with some activities and tasks that you can manage. Please feel free to choose your pace, but a project is a project and always comes with a deadline.
